Frogs, Gnats & Swarms of Insects.  Yea, that would have gotten my attention!  Those magicians were at it again, but this time, they were stumped by the gnats.  They tried to open Pharaoh’s eyes and show him that this was the finger of God, but his heart was already hard.  Moses wasn’t going to give up. 

I wonder if this crack in Pharaoh’s support team gave him the boost of encouragement he needed to keep going?  When I talk to people who do not follow Jesus, they often cannot deny that there must be more to life as they know it.  They share their longing for purpose. 

Hearing their recognition of the truth is gives me the encouragement to share how I’ve found my role in life by having a relationship with Jesus.  I’ve learned about my personality (how He made me because He is the creator of life) and combined that with His plan for the world (for people to love him and others and to reconcile the world back to its beautiful design).  Knowing these two things has helped me make decisions that bring fulfillment rather than emptiness!
