Exodus 6 and James 2 – Read it Here

You are loved.  You are wealthy.  You are strong and competent.  There are many times in my life when I’ve heard these words and rolled my eyes.  Sure.  Thanks.  But, really – me?  Even when I’m quiet before Jesus and He is reminding me that as a Christian I’m consistently loved by him, rich with his blessings, and have all the strength I need, it is still hard to believe. 

When Moses tells the Israelites in verse 9 that God cares from them and is going to free them from Slavery, they find it hard to believe too.  But God does not lie.  He may promise things that don’t come true in the timing we hope for, or have us learn a different lesson from a situation than we wanted, but God is Truth.
